But canon updating in your games is a struggle! And so is finding PSL partners! Luckily, that's what we're here for. This is a post for you to play out all the Shadowbringers-related content you might be dying to write. Behind-the-scenes nonsense? Between-the-scenes angst? It's all welcome here! 1. Of all the madness-inducing nonsense she'd stumbled her way through so far in this land, she should have known this would be one of them. Still, one does not pour salamander oil on Manderville men no less than three times to know exactly whose sculpted calves those are.

In fact she half expects a tiny assistant to come scampering in close behind, bombs either in-hand or hidden somewhere on her slight frame. So with a gusty sigh and a shake of her head, Mykha pushes up her sleeves and takes hold. After all, one does not get bequeathed with the title of Special Advisor by not one, but two(?) of the sharpest(???) detective minds in Eorzea and not feel a need to at least drag him out of the dirt so he could breathe properly.

How he'd yet to die from such falls she had long since stopped asking herself. It lead to questionable and rather uncomfortable lines of thought. No, best to simply pull hard and hope for the best.

"Come, lad. Now's not the time for sleeping!" She heaves as hard as she can at the last, hoping she doesn't strain him or end up getting a kick in her teeth.

[It isn't often Lyna accedes to taking a break from her duties outside the city. The world may not face the dangers of corruption by Light as it once did, but there is plenty of work to be done even in the dark.

Under the stars, which move so slowly across the sky she thought at first it was something she made up, or read in a children's tale. Her favorite time of day, she's found.

This night she walks through the Crystarium as best she can - almost everyone has a hello or what-news for her even these days - and her footsteps stop just past the archway into the Exedra. A familiar shadow lingers there.]

[Night has fallen on the Crystarium for the first time in a century, and the townsfolk are certainly celebrating like it. The Wandering Stairs only has standing room left, children are running around with lanterns and cheering, and the joyous mood is most definitely contagious. Before he gets some well-deserved rest, Papayako knocks back a pint (two? maybe one really big pint...) of ale and escapes the crowd. Somehow, he finds himself standing in front of the Crystal Tower, arms folded and staring up at it with a thoughtful frown. They really didn't find anyone in the Tower when it appeared?

Perhaps some other esteemed guest of the Crystal Exarch's that is also sworn to secrecy about what really happened at Holminster is staring up at the Tower too, or some other tired adventurer is just passing through on his way somewhere else... But whatever the case, everything's gotten Papayako to open his big mouth to anyone who would listen and ruin his own solemn mood.]

I always thought it'd look nicer at night. Kind of stunning, don't you think?

[it's been a day since the source's champion brought the starry night back to the skies above the crystarium and surrounding areas; the city is still abuzz with activity. it's raining at the moment, something which the city's children look upon with wonder and delight. the stars were one thing, but clouds thick enough to stifle the sun are quite another, and children are splashing puddles at each other in the streets. even those adults who might have lived long enough to see a rare sun-shower often stop in the streets just to admire the bounty of the grey storm overhead.

there are, of course, a thousand and one reasons the crystal exarch might seek out his warrior of darkness in this kind of weather. fortunately, with directions from the ever-helpful populace, aster isn't hard to find. he's beneath the canopy of the crystalline mean, where katliss makes her office, and for no particular reason at all, he's examining the baskets of fruit she keeps behind her desk. apples. oranges. he takes an apple in his hands, hefts it in his palm. it's not too heavy.

at the exarch's approach, he turns and nods his head.]

And there haven't been that many signs of hostility yet, so he may as well take advantage of the man's... companionship? Presence? To ask the endless font of questions he's had for far too long.

"I suppose I should be glad you sleep. It means some time is kept to myself, dalliances free from prying eyes."

While Raeventiel hopes to unearth these secrets, the mage can't help but feel so horribly out of his element right about now. It's a good thing that the Students of Baldesion thought to give this mage turned archaeologist a decent escort. However, he never expected his escort to be none other than the Warrior of Light himself. It's a tad humbling but Raevential is quite thankful for it.
