beneath the stars It's been a week since our newest expansion officially launched! And, I know, I know... some of you already have a lot of feelings that you need to air out. But canon updating in your games is a struggle! And so is finding PSL partners! Luckily, that's what we're here for. This is a post for you to play out all the Shadowbringers-related content you might be dying to write. Behind-the-scenes nonsense? Between-the-scenes angst? It's all welcome here! 1. Toplevel your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops. 2. Reply to other people's top levels! 3. [The Crystarium has a lot of odd faces, some that look more familiar than others, even if she could swear she'd never seen them in her life.

(There's been a lot of that lately, strangely enough.)

But she nearly hits some poor passerby in the face with her ponytail as she whips around mid-stride, having caught sight of him from the corner of her eyes.

The resemblance -- it's far too much to be coincidence... right?]

Ardbert?!

[At the statement of the name, Midlander-kun whips around in surprise. His face, twisted into confusion.]

Where did you hear that name? [He asked in a confused, very Ardbert VOICE.

Surprised Pikachu face is a go.]

[Good question. She stares back at him, owl-eyed.]

It's the name of a little bird I used to know, let's say.

But... you look just like him... I must be imagining things, right?

[She slaps her hands against her face as if trying to reset her senses.]

It's... a name of a person that is very close to me in a way.

[He peered at the unfamiliar woman, feeling a twinge of familiarity echo in his chest for a moment.]

Have we met before? I would imagine we've seen each other on the road somewhere...

[Midlander-kun rubbed his short hair, trying to piece his thoughts together as the Archer-Warrior-Dragoon-Monk-Samurai-Dark Knight tried to piece it all together.]

...Though if you want the less vague answer, I must have had you confused with someone else. Apologies.

She pauses to chew on an oncoming thought.]
