dating app meme

dating app meme
hello there
There's a new program for your tomestone that's all the rage these days — OkMoogle, an app for meeting all sorts of new people, be it for dating purposes or just to make more friends! Oh, you're not interested? Or maybe you're just not the most tech-savvy individual? Well, that's unfortunate — somebody fluffy might have worked a little moogle magic to put up a profile for you anyway, kupo...!

    1. Copy the first code into a comment to this entry.

    2. Fill in all the stuff as if you were making a dating app profile for your character (or as if a silly moogle made a joke profile for them, whatever works).

    3. Use the ✗ and the ✓ to express interest or disinterest, with comments.

    4. Thread about it!

This meme was gently lifted from bakerstreet.

perhaps.

which is it that you love, then? do you love his eminence? or do you love ishgard?

[ That gives him pause anew, though his answer should come readily. ]

To serve His Eminence is to serve Ishgard. Ought a distinction be made?

of course i believe that his eminence is ishgard — insofar as that ishgardian voices helped raise him to his position, and that he is our chosen inheritor of the fury's will.

i do not believe, however, that he himself is divine, nor that he has transcended his existence as a man. the archbishop has and has always been only a man. he is chosen and elected by the synod. the synod is chosen and elected by the priests. the priests are chosen from among the people.

does the fury have a hand in all this? i would surmise so. does she personally guide the hand of each and every member of the synod as they cast their votes? that i do not know.

[ Father Joacin, too, is only a man — he cannot look inside Zephirin's heart, nor can he hear the whispers of Zephirin's conscience — and yet, more and more, his words seem as well-aimed arrows finding their mark. It is unsettling. ]

I would not presume to speak on the Fury's behalf.

[ And it is not his place to speak of his beliefs, but he knows full well that the Fury's guidance goes no further than the teachings within the Enchiridion's pages and spread through sermons — when has Halone ever intervened to answer Her chosen people's prayers? — and he is duty-bound to follow wheresoever His Eminence leads him and his sworn brothers. ]

That aside, surely it is in Ishgard's interests that we place our faith in her foremost guardian?

ah, but we veer off course from what i initially meant to say!

[there is something in this message of the surprise a doddery old man might convey were he to suddenly clap his hands together and lean forward in his rocking chair by the fire.]

to wit, in short — to thine own self be true, ser zephirin. too many men already have died unfulfilled in pursuit of greater goods.
