[She might have her tears under control, she might have bid them to no longer fall down her face, but even though she does not weep Estinien can still see signs of their presence. Little signs, mind, like the way her eyes glisten or the redness on her cheeks, but it's enough to guess what happened while his back was turned, and his stomach twists with an unfamiliar feeling.]
I have other places to be-
[The words come out without thinking, and he stops, realizing just how cold they sound. He has no intent to rush, but it certainly did not sound that way, did it? So he sighs and shakes his head, speaking more softly this time]
...but there is no hurry. I was planning on staying a little longer myself, but I must warn you - I make for rather poor company.
[There is a smile, albeit faint, hinting that there is a jest hidden in his dry delivery. Poor company. Hmph! As if she has not traveled with him long enough to realize that already.]
[ Amelia holds her breath for a moment as he speaks, letting it out slowly once he finishes. A small, playful smirk crosses her face for half a second. ]
You say that like I don't already know.
[ She had been planning on heading over to the next quadrant to see if there was anything she could fight, maybe Estinien would like to go too. ]
Well, I don't know about you but I had been planning on heading to the cave labs next quadrant over to fight some things and hopefully destress, would you like to come with me?

[That actually gets a laugh out of him. A short one, one that sounds more like a bark than an actual laugh, but a laugh nonetheless.]
I was not planning on that, no - but if this is your wish, then I shall not complain. Besides, it will make life easier for anyone else foolish enough to go nosing around this place.
