beneath the stars It's been a week since our newest expansion officially launched! And, I know, I know... some of you already have a lot of feelings that you need to air out. But canon updating in your games is a struggle! And so is finding PSL partners! Luckily, that's what we're here for.This is a post for you to play out all the Shadowbringers-related content you might be dying to write. Behind-the-scenes nonsense? Between-the-scenes angst? [ Which. Happens sometimes. Sometimes because it's covert ops in hostile territory. Sometimes because it's Estinien she's trying to get in contact with. Not that she quite wants to spoil that surprise yet - she still wants to see Drifting Sapphire's face when she finds out! ]
Not much different than last time, really. Things have been tense, of course. With the stalemate and the Archons still missing and everything. But the others have all really risen to the occasion!
[ Honestly, she's quite proud of her fellow Scions. The ones who - like herself - had every reason to feel dwarfed standing next to legends. The Archons, the Warrior of Light... It was a lot to live up to, and she knew that better than most.
And then of course there's her. Running that tight ship. Keeping everything together. Although that makes her realize, and here she pauses, uncertain- ]

Her face will certainly be impressive when she finds out! Managing to find the man, and get him to cooperate- it'll be worth it.]

And then of course there's Tataru, who's kept her head together, who's been worrying about so many little things from essentially the first day Sapphire met her.]

[ Including by her. She's accountant, receptionist, and right something of the face of the Scions. It's. A lot. And no matter how hard she tries there's always something or someone needing something. But so far as Tataru's concerned, it's probably worse for Sapphire. Now she has two whole worlds to fuss about now. Worlds that never seemed to want for saving. And now she's the one taking the time to inquire if Tataru is doing all right. Bless her. ]
Y-yes, of course! I mean... I'm doing all right I suppose. Doing what I can to keep everyone's spirits up. I've been working on my culinarian skills with F'lahminn to help. It's amazing what a good meal does for morale. Plus it's wonderful for the nerves. Weaving too.
[ All of her crafting is good in that regard. Between this and her earlier report there's a bit to read between the lines of. She's been stressed. Everyone's been lowkey stressed. Nothing bad has happened, but the Scions did so much for Eorzea, and it's still big shoes to fill. But they're doing what they can to cope, and make sure that Sapphire - and the Archons - are able to focus on what they need to do on the First. Thankfully, Garlemand hasn't been making that task even harder by actually going on the offensive. ]

[She trusts Tataru to be able to find those things, of course! But… the Scions are a handful, really. As far as she's concerned, the best thing to do is to try and take it one step at aside- though there's always more to think about.]
It does work well! I'm sure everyone's spirits are well maintained in your hands. [Though, well. She does catch that stress- honestly, she uses crafting for just about that reason herself. She doesn't always make great things, but… sometimes you just need to hit something with a hammer.]. Ah, that said- how are yours? Are you able to take a break at the moment?
