beneath the stars It's been a week since our newest expansion officially launched! And, I know, I know... some of you already have a lot of feelings that you need to air out. But canon updating in your games is a struggle! And so is finding PSL partners! Luckily, that's what we're here for. This is a post for you to play out all the Shadowbringers-related content you might be dying to write. Behind-the-scenes nonsense? Between-the-scenes angst? It's all welcome here! 1. Toplevel your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops. 2. Reply to other people's top levels! 3. Have fun! ⚔ Please clearly mark all spoilers in your thread subject lines. Clearly indicate whatever spoiler preferences you may have. We're only a week into the expansion, officially, and there's no shame if you're not far in it or haven't started it yet. ⚔ You are welcome to play characters who are new to Shadowbringers. However, please try to avoid topleveling with icons and descriptions that convey major plot-related spoilers. If you aren't certain about a character's playability, feel free to PM ![]() |

"I see the rough landing was not yet enough to dampen your spirits."

"It takes more than a rough landing to muster a Manderville Man however! I feel like a invigorated soul once more! Why, I could go ten rounds of fisticuffs, even if that is not the gentlemanly sport of choice."

Raising what was literally Excalibur+, he set off in a Random Direction towards the Crystalarium.

"A fair choice, Hildy. But take care, all manner of foul beasts have plagued this land. 'Tis not entirely safe to wander!" Hopefully she could at least keep him relatively out of trouble until their merry band of misfits was once again reunited.

With any luck, Gilgamesh had kept them safe from Sin Eaters. Greg was always the more competent of the fighting, even if Nashu had miraculously somehow found a way to employ her endless supply of Delights in some sort of fanciful explosion-filled Anti-Sin Eater crusade to keep them safe.
Hildy was none-too worried about the Trader, even if it wasn't in his moral compass to let the man get killed after all of what happened to him and his father.

In her heart of hearts, she hoped to the Great Wood and the heavens themselves that Gilgamesh and Nashu were alright. The little beastly man that had nigh-on gotten the lot of them killed, well...Mykha was not entirely unkind, though she would not find it remiss to plant her fist in the man's face when next they met.
Not that she'd wish a sin eater on him, that was cruelty of an unconscionable kind.

"So Greg old chap spirited us away to some other plane or land? Or was it much further than that?" asked Hildy quickly, as they suddenly peeled off to fight a white scorpion that popped up out of nowhere. "Truly I have never seen a scorpion that hue before. Or so utterly deadly looking."

Well, smiles for some people. Not everyone was as delighted by the absolute mayhem left in the wake of Hildibrand Helidor Maximilian Manderville, inspector extraordinaire.
"I'm not entirely certain it was Greg that did this, to be fair. We've been pulled to a different star entirely, my friend." Having forgone her staves and magicks for something far more mobile, Mykha was quick to sweep forward, chakrams flying. With the lesser sin eater swiftly crushed, she slung the weapons back on their holsters, dusting off her hands.
"This land suffers from a plague of sin-eaters. Much like voidsent, but formed of light-aspected aether. I...would not wish for them to corrupt you or your companions, Hildibrand. You must promise to take care in this place."
