Felih laughs. "Haurchefant knows plenty well how to dance," he purrs, tail wiggling in a way that suggests it might be a double-entendre. He's dark in the cheeks but clearly pleased and smug- he so loves his Fortemps knight. "He's actually quite fun to dance with. He's got that spring in his step that manages to make everything lively."
He did laugh a little, before shaking his head. "Of course your chosen method of flirtation involves sparring," he teases, setting aside the measuring tape and giving a lazy stretch. "Though, the libraries here are certainly interesting, I'll admit."
Q'uila snorts and rolls her eyes at Felih, but her tail curls happily at how smitten he is with Hauchefant. "I shouldn't be surprised that his verve extends into everything he does."
Q'uila flushes and gently swipes at his bicep. "It's not flirting! We were merely talking about our training routines and he invited me to be his sparring partner whilst in Ishgard.
"As if Haurchefant would do anything without energy and enthusiasm," Felih laughs, grinning. "Well, mayhaps except for his paperwork- even that he doesn't enjoy, though he does it diligently."
He purrs and grins wider when she swats at his bicep. "Call it what you like- he chose you of all sparring partners, that clearly makes it flirtation," he purrs, ignoring the ache in his chest. He has no right- he's already got one mate, ought to let his sister have her fun chasing after her own.
"I'll be honest, I'd be concerned about his mortality if he was enthusiastic about paperwork. No-one who enjoys it could possibly be a mortal member of the Five Races."
Q'uila's blush deepens. "He chose me to spar as a challenge of our skill. Both of us have to hold back too much when sparring with the other knights. Besides," She scowls, blush still staining her cheeks but there is a confused honesty to her next question. "Why in the heavens would he flirt with me?!"
Felih snorts. "Well, he gets it does quickly and efficiently so he has time to do more enjoyable things, like train his men or do patrols, or cuddle with me," he says with a purr, tail wiggling happily. He's thoroughly and deeply in love- even the times spent apart he feels a longing to be by his side.
He can't remember ever feeling this strongly before....
Still, he smiles at her. "In case you haven't noticed, dear sister, you're an attractive woman and beloved hero in Ishgard- I don't see any reason he wouldn't."
Q'uila purrs at Felih. "You and Hauchefant are sappier than the entire Black Shroud and it makes me so happy for the both of you. I can't wait to have him as my brother-in-law."
She does scoff at his second remark. "I'm not attractive, I'm just...me."
Felih's cheeks go dark, and his tail coils around one of his legs, almost shy as he laughs. Felih Tia, getting bashful? Haurchefant must really be something.
"...I can't wait to bond with him," he murmurs, admiring the ring on his finger. It's a beautiful thing, a gold ring with a ruby in the center, with a smaller diamond and onyx gem on each side. "I- I can't really believe it," he says softly, before he seems to snap out of it.
Her comment makes him give her a look. "Oh, come now, Uila. Don't tell me you're so oblivious- by most standards, you're beautiful. Have you truly not noticed the eyes you catch?"
Felih is startled by the sudden hug, but laughs and hugs her tightly in return. "I... would doubt that, but... well, I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. He- he truly... wants to be with me. For life- my lifemate, Uila!" he laughs, thrilled, a joy fluttering and leaping in his chest as he picks her up and spins her around before setting her down.
He's beaming, eyes shining like sunbeams. "I'd do anything for him- I hope things settle down quickly. I want to plan a wedding, not go fight dragons..."
Still, seeing his sister so flustered just makes him laugh. "My gods- you really didn't notice, all this time? From the moment we met, dear sister, I've seen folk admiring you! In recent memory, I do remember that busboy at the tavern tripping and bumping right into a pillar just because he was too stunned staring at you."
Q'uila squeaks in surprise as Felih lifts her up, descending into trilling laughter as he spins her around, nuzzling him as he does so. She grasps his hands and bounces slightly on the spot. "I struggle to think of a more fitting lifemate for you Felih."
She grins, "Well I guess I'll just have to get better at my Job, I'd hate for the wedding to be delayed." Her eyes gleam, "Have you had any thoughts about it?"
Q'uila splutters, a blush starting to creep across her skin. "Now I know you're pulling my tail! That busboy was just clumsy, all he did all evening was trip and stumble. I have never seen anyone 'admire' me ever."
Felih blushes even more darkly, but nuzzles her back and smiles, glowing with joy. "Thank you," he says softly, but there's emotion in it that makes his voice waver.
Gods, he's so happy- and soon, soon... just as soon as everything settles down, they'll be formally bonded.
But then it's his turn to make Q'uila blush more instead, and he laughs. "No, no, no- oh Twelve, sister. Menphina need shine her light on your eyes," he teases, adding, "That is not the sole incident! And I saw him with mine own eyes- he was absolutely distracted by you. And there were countless others, throughout all our travels."
Felih laughs and returns the hug- after all, he certainly isn't the type to turn down affection. He purrs and nuzzles into her shoulder, before laughing at her baffled line of questioning.
"Oh, calm. Most are strangers, but I know plenty of folk we've met and aided along the way have certainly given you smitten looks," he chirps with a little laugh, grinning. "And you're certainly lovely enough for the Lord Commander to spare you a dance, if you're bold enough to even ask for one."
"I never thought that others would see me like that, especially those who I do not know...What else have I not noticed?!"
Q'uila glares at Felih. "Is that a challenge? You are incorrigible because now we both know that I have to ask Aymeric to dance now you have said that."
Despite the glare her tail curls happily at the notion of getting to dance with Aymeric.
Felih just laughs. "Apparently, quite a bit..." he says with an amused shake of his head, before purring and grinning, his ears perking up and forward as Q'uila recognizes his little challenge.
"Oh? Is that so? Well, alright. But if you don't dance with him, I certainly will, and who knows what kinds of embarrassing stories I can dig up," he grins, mischievous as he teases her.
Q'uila swiftly snaps a hand out to tug gently on Felih's ear, fully aware that he is only partially joking about telling Aymeric embarrassing stories, "What has my mother been telling you out of my earshot?!."
She huffs, "Fine, I will ask him, and I will complete a dance with Aymeric. In return, you need to ask Estinien to dance. If I have to embarrass myself because of your challenge the least you can do for me in return is embarrass him."
Felih grins at her despite the way Q'uila is tugging at his ear. "Hey, hey, she told me things in confidence! I can't give away what she told me, that'll ruin all the potential blackmail!" he chirps, mischief in his eyes before he swats at her hand.
"Estinien to dance? Fine! I will= I doubt he'll accept, but we'll see what I can do."
Q'uila pouts at Felih and gives his ear another tug, "Mum and you have far too much fun gossiping at my expense, it puts me at a disadvantage in terms of embarrassing stories you cheater."
Her pout morphs into a satisfied smile, "Excellent, make sure it is one of the slow dances. I highly doubt he will say no, especially with how dashing I'm sure you will look on the evening. Just remember to save one of the jigs for me, we shall set the dance floor ablaze!"
Felih laughs a bit, though it falters when Q'uila mentions how she's at a disadvantage: it only serves as reminder that Felih has no family.
Not anymore.
But he instead decides to focus on her challenge, and manages to laugh again, shaking his head in amusement. "Slow dances. You know, Q'uila, this is all resting on the assumption Estinien even manages to be dragged to the ball. You know how he hates such formal occasions, especially if it means dealing with nobility."
Felih laughs a little. "Right. Solidarity- somehow, I doubt that will be much motivation for him to attend. But we shall see," he chirps, writing a few more notes down in his notebook for the dress he intends to weave her, only to stretch and sigh, finally setting down the pen.
Felih laughs. "Go ahead and go- if my mate needs me, he knows where to find me. I'll rest easy- and begin on your attire as soon as I am able. It will be an interesting challenge, working with the resources we currently have available..." he muses, purring, setting down his notebook now and relaxing.
"Alright," She gives him a tight hug and kiss on the cheek. "Have a good rest brother."
She blushes at that, giving him another tight hug, she heads to the door, gently cracking it open and slipping out of the room to head to the Knight's training grounds...

"No I'm not...What. Eyes? What eyes? I don't catch any eyes!" Felih help this oblivious cat.

She's so damn blind to her own appearance

*looks in mirror* "I'd say I was a five at best"
"I-but-You truly mean that?! What sort of people, do I know any of them?" She is still mostly baffled by the whole thing.

She's doing so well
Q'uila glares at Felih. "Is that a challenge? You are incorrigible because now we both know that I have to ask Aymeric to dance now you have said that."
