Moenbryda had been deep in concentration, flicking through the tome in her hands and quite oblivious to the goings-on around her. She had successfully applied an axe to the few things still itching to put up a fight, and things had been properly quiet for a library. Up until she heard a familiar voice calling out her name.
"Hm?" Up goes her head... and then her eyes widen. "Why, if it isn't Felih!" Still holding that tome in one hand, she turns and smiles... though it's a tired kind of smile. Oh, it's good to see him, but... "Here for some light reading, maybe?" The best time to make light is when things are very, very serious, after all.
Felih stares. He stares for a few silent moments and feels his heart threatening to beat right out of his chest, but he swallows hard and pins his ears back, tail tucking between his legs.
"You're- you're dead? I- I saw you- I saw you die...?" Or so it had seemed- but being consumed, giving up one's own life aether to seal away a foe... and yet, here she stood.
Was this another dream come to haunt him? "I-I... we- the others, they... we mourned. I thought- we all thought you were lost to us..."
