"Oh, of course not- as if Alphinaud would ever invite me of all people to probe into his embarrassing past," Felih says with a wicked grin, tail flicking playfully behind him as he settles down more comfortably in his seat, a small purr in his chest. As much as Felih dotes on him, he teases him in equal measure.
His ears are perked forward in blatant interest, though, tilting his head curiously. "Still, I would delight to see his response if I mentioned it. He was so adamant about you not repeating the tale when we first met."
"Perhaps if you could frame your inquiries as a political knot of riddles for him to unravel, the like of which would occupy him for bells on end, you might befuddle him into lowering his defenses."
Bells of blessed silence, at that. Should Alphinaud chance to come through the room in the next few moments, Krile will count herself blessed by fortune for the easy ammunition.
"Most students in their first year at the Studium have an inflated view of themselves. Alphinaud's age only amplified it, difficult as that may be to believe."
Felih laughs. "You overestimate my interest in political ramblings," he chirps in response, "Besides, 'tis not often I have so much time to freely spend. I'd rather use the time to craft or play- but I suppose talking with him can be considered play, considering how fun it can be to see him go pink. That, and it is admittedly fun to work on arcanima together." Felih's curiosity and odd manner of thinking about things, along with Alphinaud's technical expertise, often allowed for some interesting experiments and discoveries, even if it did usually come wrapped up with some mess...
"That does make me wonder, though- I know little of Sharlayan. I know knowledge is regarded as paramount, and that their stance on neutrality is... well, firm, to say the least. Is such arrogance common all about there? Or just in those that tend to enter the Studium? You have spent more time there than I."
"Though I have traveled many places, there are still more I wish to see."
