"...Of course it is. What, you'd want it to simply release easily, friend?" Nero answered first, smirking. It wasn't like he was making sure it messed with Felih, to see how he reacted.
But at the former, he shook his head. "Why, all my soldiers were the best of the best - unless, of course, you asked them. It wasn't my fault that I was more interested in engineers and spies, now was it?" Nero casually laid his hands on the machine - which seemed to be lowering towards the ground, gliding as casually as Nero remained on top of it.
"Sometimes, I'd like to work alongside more who use magic. It's fascinating."
Felih huffs at him, tail flicking and lashing irritably as he continued to hang by the scruff from this giant mechanical hand, jostled to and fro by its erratic movements. "Yes, that would be nice. And here I figured that someone with your skill could actually manage a smooth release," he whines and gripes, ears low as he squirms and tries to claw at the metal fingers holding onto him.
Still, he seems relieved when Nero seems to finally be getting it to lower him smoothly to the ground, and he muses, "Well, you are surrounded by plenty of us mages. You could just ask." He seems amused, looking at him curiously. "It's not as if we don't have some downtime to sate your curiosity."
Don't insult him - Nero huffs. "I didn't design this - believe it or not, I'm having to hack into this." As he talks, though, Felih is finally released - a little rougher then he may have expected. Because, of course, Nero is a butt at times.
"...Ask?" Nero then asked himself - an odd sound escaping his throat. He doesn't just ask - but trying to escape his feeling, he continued. "No, no. You heroes are quite too busy - being asked to do only the most important deeds."
The sudden, rough drop has Felih giving a small sound of alarm before he lands on his feet, before sighing and dusting himself off. Felih will sass Nero as he pleases- after all, Nero himself has plenty of sass to spare. Still, the mischief in Felih's eyes doesn't fade from the rough landing alone.
He simply goes over to him, humming, "My thanks- and besides, I'm literally right here with nothing to do. 'Tis not as if we're always off performing our mandatory heroics."
