She laughs as he frets over her, worrying that she may have been caught.
"You aught not worry, my friend, The Colada clan has friends, well, everywhere in Thanalan. T'was not such a large feat to slip in unnoticed." She winks at him. Her family is very good at running interference. It was easy to ask the guards nicely to look the other way, as a couple of them were her cousins. It wasn't difficult to get into town, as Lalafell are a dozen a dime in the City. It was easy to waltz into the Colada Commission and grab her things.
"Your order is ready for collection, Madam." Her sister had said, a cold steel in her voice. Not at her, no, but at the situation that had lead to this. "We hope we will see your patronage again soon."
"Of course, Dear Cocola. You will thank your family for me, I trust?"
"Come back alive. You can thank them yourself."
"We are a family, and to us, that means doing our best by each other regardless of how we feel about the other. We're so large that you're bound not to like every single one of them!" She picks out the candied fruits from her brother. They had a falling out over crops once, and they're getting better, but they'll still argue for the best ways to cultivate.
She grins as Haurchefant as he dons her mother's scarf.
"As most things do , Haurchefant, attractive." She chuckles. "It brings out your eyes, Dear."
"Now, I won't tempt you with the Liquor whilst you're on duty but - hm - ah!" She rummages through the basket and pulls out a small, unassuming brown sack, sealed tight.
"How about some fresh-as-you-can-get Coffee from the Gardens of Ul'Dah?" She opens the pouch and the scent of deep, earthy coffee permeates the air.
"This is my father's favorite. Rolanberry Infused."
