That he's willing to risk the wrath of an irascible old hag like her For Science is - in truth - a point in his favor. The tarts are another one; even if she winds up not liking them, the poroggos are bound to -- indeed, one or two of them are already edging towards Felih, their round eyes fixed upon him with the same intensity they might have once stared down a fly. For her part, Matoya barely spares him a glance as she scrawls across a scroll, sighing faintly.

"Put them on the table there and ware sticky fingers and sticky tongues while the water boils." She's assuming he wants tea. She wants tea, anyway, if she's going to be dealing with someone else's science and sampling his tarts and putting up with his presence.

Felih does notice the way the poroggos are eyeing the tarts- and he can't help but relax and smile a bit. He did bake plenty especially keeping the little creatures in mind, after all- he does have a soft spot for the silly things.

"Thanks," he says when he gets as much of a welcome as Matoya is like to bring him. He sets the plate down on the table, and as she goes about preparing tea, he starts to pull out a few notebooks and tomes, along with some scrolls- all filled with markings, either highlighted selections or notes scribbled and written himself, diagrams and calculations...

For all his mischief, Felih still is an arcanist, and the curiosity dwells ever-insatiable in his mind. "I knew that I'd need an expert on aetherial currents for such things, because while most is still in the realm of theory, some of my most recent... adventures... have proven it to be entirely possible."
