Felih's ears pin low against his hair, and he pulls out the stone in question. It glows, it's new, resonating with a familiar aether- Coconzo, better known as Connor, a white mage and Felih's best friend.

"This is... this is Connor's," he says quietly. "We- we were... that is, not long ago, we fought a primal... Thordan and his knights, the former head of Ishgard. Connor- he gave his life for ours. I came because- well, I thought you should know. He always held you in high regard, even if his methods of dealing with the elementals was a bit unorthodox..." Coconzo Chechenzo, whose exasperated ranting at the elementals somehow yielded results.

"Forgive me, I had assumed that a new one had formed for you."

He takes the stone, and holds it in his hands, feeling Coconzo Chechenzo's last remaining aether. After a moment he puts it to his chest over his heart and closes his eyes.

"Connor was a good man," he said holding the stone back to Felih. "He spoke highly of you as well, child. I believe this stone should serve you well should you want to wield its power. But that is your choice, and one you do not have to make today."

Felih's ears remain pinned against his hair as he reluctantly passes the stone, and he watches with very poorly-veiled misery as E-sumi-yan speaks. He is quick to accept the stone again, holding it close to his heart, and feels the pulse.

Stubborn, strong, insistent- less gentle than the stone Connor himself had held, which was now in the possession of another of their comrades.

"I..." he starts, hesitating a moment. "That is, to heal- I would wish to learn what I can to better aid my fellow Warriors. With Connor gone, that... leaves me as the only one adept in healing magics. I would be glad, to learn more ways to strengthen my loved ones, and protect them."
