[I hope this is alright! The new dev post was too cute/funny to resist playing off of.]
Felih often pays visits to the Dawn Throne, since he enjoys visiting the Steppe and learning more of the Xaela tribes... but today, he seems to have stumbled in on something quite amusing. Though he usually tries not to be too obtrusive to the ever-stern Magnai, he can't resist this opportunity.
"Wow. And here I thought you were complaining of not being able to find a Nhaama," he chirps in amusement, looking over the pile of gifts and chocolates he sees stacked before the throne upon which Magnai sits. "That's a rather impressive pile of Valentoine's gifts, there. I hadn't even known it was celebrated on the Steppe..."
The scowl upon Magnai's features more than tell his distaste for such jesting. You walk upon thin ice, Warrior of Light, he suffers your presence because tradition dictates he should, not because of any misplaced idea of friendship.
"I have had countless suitors," He begins, his voice dripping with annoyance, "Little does that mean they are my Nhaama indeed."
Yellow eyes fall to the presents that the strange pig had left, his chin resting against his hands as they oft were. Narrowing his eyes, he continues, "We are not familiar with the traditions of the west, but the intent behind such offerings are plain."
Felih knows full well Magnai cares little for his presence- among the lot of his companions, he's sure Magnai perhaps liked him least. Well, except maybe for his idiot tank, but that's another matter.
He's not perturbed, however, still grinning like a cat that got the cream, purring slightly to himself. "Well, how can you know? They were too shy to deliver in person. Maybe if you met them, you'd find them," he says with a smile, a playful flick of his tail behind him. "No need to be so grumpy. After all, it's nice to get tokens of admiration, isn't it?"
