[Two options, here! The first is your standard sort of Warrior of Light, primarily a White Mage and up to date to just before the start of Stormblood. A quick and dirty profile is here.
Second option is a non-WoL OC, an amnesiac young woman found in the wreckage of Eastern Thanalan immediately following the Calamity. Was nursed back to health and eventually set out to become a conjurer so that she could help others in a similar fashion. Turns out to be an Allagan clone/automaton hybrid that had survived the fall of the Dalamud fragment. So, cloned Hyur with a robot brain and a big wooden stick that she uses to cast healing spells.]
Felih is... exhausted. There's only so much he can do before he drains all the energy he has left, and it seems that, at least for the time being, he's stuck here.
Fantastic.
He looks about, seeing the signs of destruction, the lifelessness in this strange plane he's found himself in- curse the beasts that sent him through that portal without a way home. He's trying not to panic, trying to keep calm- there must be a way out of here. There must be- it's not the first time he'd been sent to new planes, planes created or accessed by all manner of strange beings they'd had to battle.
Being trapped alone here... no, he can't let himself think about that. There has to be a way out...!
Where is everyone? Pinya- Quila? Sami? Brigid- anyone?
Rhok-
"Rhok!" he screeches into the empty void, starting to shake, tail puffed up anxiously as it trembles and tucks between his legs. "Someone- anyone!"
He can't truly be the only one stuck here, can he?
Felih's desperate cry for 'anyone' is met several moments later with a faint and distant "Hello?!" in kind. Dakki was confused, and quite frankly at a loss for what was happening, and that voice that she heard calling out was the first thing she had heard thus far. She turns about, eyes narrowing as though it might help her hear better... and then she breaks into a run towards what she's fairly sure is the direction she heard that come from.
"Who's there?! Hello? H... hey!" She's garbed in white robes and toting a wooden staff on her back, but is otherwise very unfamiliar. There's certainly no recognition on her face when she draws close enough to actually see Felih. Just a wide-eyed look of hopeful enthusiasm.
A voice. He hears a woman's voice, and though it's unfamiliar, he is quickly drawn to it. In this strange planar void, it is the only sign of life he's seen thus far. Well, aside from the voidsent, of course, but they're not much company.
Still, he finds her and immediately recognizes a white mage when he sees one, and he rushes forward in relief. "Oh, thank the Twelve," he murmurs quietly, a shaky sigh leaving him. "Here I was starting to worry I was alone in this place. I- I'm Felih. Who are you? I- that is, we've both been pulled to this place, it seems..."
There is a fairy fluttering about behind him, regarding Dakki curiously, a flitting ball of red and green. She seems to appraise Dakki for a few moments, before she relaxes and plops herself down to sit cross-legged on Felih's shoulder.
It's someone, and someone friendly. What an enormous relief! "I was worrying about the same thing! I'm Dakki. I'd... I'd say 'well met, Felih, but..." Her relieved smile wavers a bit, as she looks all about them. This is not a good situation.
"...oh!" It's the fairy that catches her attention and brings it back around, and that feeling of hope is back. "You're a Scholar, then?" A very obvious question, but she's a master of obvious questions. "I've... I've worked with Scholars before! I'm a little envious of what they can do, honestly, it must take such trust to work so closely with another..."
Felih's ears droop as he is reminded of their situation, and looks around anxiously. The dark void around them, occasionally broken up by mounds and floating isles of stone and glowing purple aether and multicolored crystals, is silent and unwelcoming, with only the occasional deep, loud rumbles of sound.
He isn't sure if it is a beast, or the simple resonance of aether echoing in... well, a void. Either way, the sound disconcerts him every time it makes itself known, and he is visibly on edge.
Even Holly sticks close to his neck, her tiny hands gripping onto Felih's clothes.
"Dakki, then. At the very least, 'tis a relief to find another human about..." he says softly. "I am a Scholar- though versed in all manner of healing magics, I have found myself in the companionship of a faerie of my own. Holly is quite the talented little lady- and we work well in tandem. I suppose she must have known we would be a good match- I've heard the fae choose their partners. From what I've seen, it seems to ring true."
Holly only looks proud at the praise, her wings fluttering a moment before she relaxes and beams at Dakki. She idly starts to braid her red and green hair over her shoulder.
"It's a relief not to be alone..." And she means that. Means it with a passion that surprises her and gives her the slightest twinge in her chest. But there she goes, being silly again... she listens to Felih's explanation with a smile, focusing on that instead. "That's wonderful, that you two have found each other! Er... oh, and I'm a White Mage. Between the both of us, if there's any trouble, I'm sure we'll be able to handle it!"
Her optimism wavers slightly when Felih asks how she arrived here, however. She knows the answer, but it's not a very encouraging one. "I... I was fighting some sort of voidsent." One hand rises to absently fidget with the red trim of her white robes. "Everything seemed under control, and then there was this terrible sound and everything went dark and... and now I'm here." She stills, and looks to Felih hopefully. "How did you find yourself here?"
Felih's ears immediately pin down, sympathetic as some of his bravado fades. "...agreed. 'Tis a great relief to not be alone," he murmurs quietly, before he forces himself to perk up, trying to keep a brave face on for Dakki and Holly's sake. He feels better knowing someone else is around, and he relaxes, letting his tense and anxious tail finally sweep low to the ground in a more at-ease sway.
"The path of my own adventure followed was the same as yours," he says softly. "My companions and I were clearing out old ruins of voidsent, in the hopes that it could be reclaimed and restored, explored and salvaged- but all of a sudden, I was snatched up and torn away..."
He shudders. "The fiend had wicked claws. Lucky am I that it merely sought to fling me into a void and not rend me asunder. I worry more for the fate of my comrades."
