[ honestly, the fact that robyn is here at all with nero is no small wonder. some internal part of him had been tightly coiled with anxiety, with the fear that this gambit wouldn't work at all, that he would ultimately have to set out once again to put down that primal himself, or worse, that he'd have to deal with omega instead...
but, then β he didn't. and once that coil had spun itself loose, exhaustion quickly filled in the space left behind.
of course, he doesn't have it in him to turn down an invitation, particularly not one meant for celebration, and particularly not one coming from nero tol scaeva. still, if he comes off a bit listless... well, that's one of the reasons why. ]
Yes, itβ it really was, wasn't it...
[ not that he'd seen much, holed up as they were in that allagan lab, but the sight of a clear sky over baelsar's wall was enough to at least bring him some relief, if nothing else. ]
[ Nero wished he could have seen more. Could have examined, could have watched. He's felt a connection to Omega - a connection which bothers him. But, really, he couldn't bring that up.
He was too proud to admit it.
Or to admit he never understood what it meant to rest, what he should be doing after all of... well. What he was meant to do. Honestly, this was him trying.
Barely any of this came though, even as his eyes flickered - moving to put an arm around Robyn. ]
Let's just hope Omega's taking a big long nap, wherever they've gone. For when I find them again... there's going to be a lot more fun. Why, I'm considering how I'm going to find 'em.
[ he is rambling, but he's beaming. why he's not caring his glimmering wings are showing. (he'll be placing his awkward cloak over them again later. over his shame.) ]
[ robyn makes a surprised noise when nero puts his arm around him, but he doesn't protest or try to move away. the last thing he wants to do is spoil the mood, after all...! ]
Well, ah... If Omega hasn't gone back to sleep, then... I can't imagine it would be long before we found out, would it?
[ before he found out, anyway, given that he's still pretty sure he's on the shortlist of people who are going to have to go deal with it. hells, he probably is the list. ]

[ Nero says, but he does let go. Mostly because he's beginning to frown, his lips shifting. ]
It's a pity. Do you think it'll fall as easily as Ultima? Answers vanishing, just like that?
