pre-patch blues
These meme isn't that popular anymore, so I really don't know how well it will go, but we might as well try it, right? Here's how this goes:

1. Post with your characters.
2. Get a trope from hitting the "random trope" button on TV Tropes, located at the top, towards the right. Warning: You may find yourself sucked into the black hole that is TV Tropes.
3. Write someone else a starter involving the trope you just got! (I know not every trope is applicable to XIV characters, so feel free to reroll until you get something that you can write a starter with.)
4. Feel free to AU if necessary.
5. ???
6. Have fun?!

I got this off of one of my old, old museboxes from 2011, so I have no idea who originally came up with this idea, but hey, enjoy!
