the printer-scanner is jammed again In a reflection of the Source (?) far across the rifts, through time and space... well, no, we don't need to go that far to justify this. Look, everyone now works at the same office. What kind of office? That's up to you. What do they do? Also up to you! Just make sure the Mark XIV Thermocoil Boilmaster is sufficiently stocked for the day... and that we have enough working staplers. People catch battle fever when there's not enough working staplers.• Toplevel with or without a starter. • Make sure to include your preferences. • Reply to others' toplevels. • The prompts are just suggestions. • Here's RNG if you need it. 1. MONDAY. Stand around the water cooler and chat about the weekend's misadventures. (Let's be real, you just want to talk about what was on TV.) Or maybe you're nursing a terrible hangover and the florescent lights aren't helping... 2. TUESDAY. Technology isn't on your side today. If the Internet doesn't keep going in and out, then it's the photocopier on the fritz or the new coffee maker needing troubleshooting. Are you the one roped into fixing everyone's problems, or are you IT's worst nightmare? 3. WEDNESDAY. It's someone's birthday. Or retirement party. Or a loosely defined holiday. For whatever reason, there's sheet cake in the break room for about the fifth time this month. If you want your fix of refined sugar without having to interact with your coworkers, you'll need to be stealthy. Or just swagger right in there and gorge, social niceties be damned. 4. THURSDAY. Is it that time already? You've been here for [insert extent of employment here] and your supervisor has called you into their office for your review. Time to bite the bullet and hear all the good/bad things you've done... or hide in the parking lot and put it off until tomorrow. 5. FRIDAY. Finally! The work week is almost over. Are you trying to snag a party invite or avoid an invitation altogether? Can you duck out early, or is someone about to crush your dreams with a stack of fresh paperwork due Monday? 6. OVERTIME. It's the weekend... but you're at work. You're getting paid overtime and nobody else seems to be in. Will you buckle down and get to work, or take advantage of having the run of the office? Set up some harmless pranks, maybe? Get chatty with the cleaning staff? 7. WILDCARD. Choose your own (office) adventure! This meme was gently lifted from bakerstreet. As always, tag out and have fun. |
